Grand Cayman's weather is warm throughout the year. The month of April is characterized by essentially constant daytime temperatures with a high around 85 degrees. Evening lows are typically in the high 70s. The end of winter, beginning in April, is the driest time of year with precipitation averages of 1 inch for the month. While the chance of rainfall is minimal, it is always a good idea to be prepared with a rain jacket or umbrella.
What attire is appropriate?
The hotel is casual so comfortable summer clothing is appropriate. A cover-up is required in the hotel lobby areas. As the sun is extremely strong, be sure to prepare by bringing along sunglasses, a hat and sunscreen to avoid a sunburn which can ruin your vacation!
The PSEA Awards Dinner is a more elegant affair; coats and ties are appropriate for men and dresses or pant suits are suitable for women. Appropriate attire for each function will be noted in the agenda that you receive prior to traveling.

High-speed wireless or wired internet connectivity is available on a complimentary basis for all guests at the Four Seasons Hotel.

What air arrangements have been made for the group?
Your trip includes round trip airfare for you and your guest to West Palm Beach airport (PBI). In some cases, it may be more convenient to travel to Ft. Lauderdale airport (FLL) where they are more direct flights. Please note that CORT PSEA regulations do not allow travel prior to the group arrival day, Sunday, April 8th.
Upon registering for the program on this website, you will receive an agenda for your flights within 3 business days . Your approval is required - please respond to the air agent that you have received and agree with the itinerary. Should you not respond within 24 hours you will be ticketed on this itinerary and any subsequent changes will be at your own expense.
We also want to advise you that for cities where there are multiple airports (New York or Miami area) you may be offered an itinerary that has more convenient flights. For example, you may live nearest to JFK Airport, but La Guardia has a better connection. Be sure to include any/all of the airports near to your home that you would be willing to travel to for your flights.
Should you have any questions regarding air travel, please contact the PSEA hotline at 720-982-6221.
What do I do if I would like to extend my stay in Palm Beach?
If you wish to stay at the hotel, please note there is VERY LIMITED availability left at the hotel at the group rate of $369 per night plus tax. Please indicate that you would like to extend and we will advise on availability.
How will I get my airline tickets and travel documents?
As noted above, upon registering for the trip, you will receive a suggested air itinerary within 3 business days. Please review the itinerary carefully and communicate any questions or concerns that you have and reconfirm the names on your tickets EXACTLY match the name on your government issued photo ID.
Approximately two weeks prior to the trip you will receive a packet by priority mail that includes your airline itinerary, plus any additional information about your trip. This will be sent to the address that you specified on your registration form.
As soon as your flight itinerary arrives please check it immediately for correct departure and arrival information. Also reconfirm the names on your tickets EXACTLY match the names on your passport (including any middle name or initial). If you have any concerns or questions, please contact the PSEA Registration Hotline at 720-982-6221 during regular business hours.
What documentation will I need to travel?
A valid government issued ID, such as a driver’s license, is required to travel.
What do I need to know about checked and carry-on luggage?
Your ticket mailing will include special CORT PSEA 2017 luggage tags. These tags are important and will identify you as a member of the PSEA 2017 trip which will help your travel staff recognize your bags at the airport and help the hotel bell staff deliver your bags to your room when you arrive. Please be sure to place them on your luggage and insert your business card. The airlines will not accept any luggage without personal identification, so be sure to have ID tags with your own name and address if you borrowed luggage for this trip.
Unless you have preferred traveler status, carriers are charging for checked luggage, with a maximum weight of 50 pounds per piece; excess weight will incur additional penalties. However, each airline is different so please check with the website of the airline that you will be traveling for specific baggage policies and fees. CORT will reimburse you for any fees incurred; you may submit an expense report along with the receipts upon your return.
Unless you have special TSA locks, do not lock your luggage. If you use a non-TSA lock, security may cut your lock to inspect your luggage, posing the risk of damage and/or delayed luggage.
Carry On Luggage
Airline regulations permit one piece of carry-on luggage (not to exceed 22” x 14” x 9” overall dimensions) and one personal item (purse, computer bag, etc.) which must be placed beneath your seat or in the overhead compartment.
Please be aware of TSA security procedures that restrict liquids, gels and aerosols in your carry-on bag to containers consisting of 3 ounces or less (which would include toothpaste, lotion, make-up and other items of this type). Any liquid, gel or aerosol must be placed in a clear one-quart size zip lock bag and placed on the x-ray belt separately.
It is a good idea to pack medications, valuables and other necessities, including a change of clothes in your carry-on bag and not in your checked luggage in the event that your luggage is delayed. We also suggest that you pack comfortable shoes and a change of clothes in your carry-on bag so you will be able to enjoy the resort and pool area if your luggage is delayed or your room is not ready when you arrive.
How early do I need to be at the airport?
Plan to arrive at your originating airport no later than 90 minutes prior to your flight to allow time to check in and proceed through security. Please note that many US airports require that you check your bags at least 45 minutes, and some up to 60 minutes prior to departure. If you miss this deadline, you will not be allowed to travel on the flight. You may check with your airport's website to confirm their policy.
What do I need to know about my departure from Florida?
If you are traveling from Palm Beach on group departure day, Thursday, April 12th, you will receive a departure notice on Tuesday evening, April 10th with details regarding your transportation to the airport.
If you have chosen to extend your stay after the group dates, airport transfers will not be provided. To secure airport transportation the hotel concierge or the local representative in the PSEA Hospitality Suite can provide assistance.
If you have any questions regarding the meeting, please contact the PSEA 2017 Hotline at 720-982-6221.
HOTEL ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN
What should I do when I arrive at the airport?
Upon arriving in Florida proceed to the luggage carousel to collect your luggage. After you have picked up your bags, uniformed staff from Plan-it Consulting and CORT's ground partner, 360 Destination, who will be wearing black polo shirts with green logos, will greet you with signs bearing the program logo and assist you to your transportation. The ride to the resort from Palm Beach airport is approximately 15 minutes, depending on traffic. In a few cases, you may arrive at Ft. Lauderdale airport should flight schedules be more convenient for you. This airport is located 50 minutes from the hotel.
Where do I check in for my hotel room?
When you arrive at the hotel, you will be met by your CORT PSEA staff from Plan-it Consulting and directed to the PSEA Hospitality Suite for our private group check-in in the lobby where you will:
· Register for your room and pick-up your room keys
· Provide a credit card to imprint for personal incidental charges (your room charge is billed directly to CORT).
· Reconfirm your optional activity
· Reconfirm your entree for final night
· Collect your name badge
· Make dinner reservations for your night at leisure
· Obtain information about the area for your leisure time.
Hotel staff will then escort you to your room if it is ready. Please note while every effort will be made to have your room ready when you arrive, official check in time is 3:00pm.
Please be aware that the hotel will place a hold on your credit card of $50 per day to cover incidental expenses. This may be provided in cash, credit or debit card. The hold will be released on the credit card within 24 hours after departure or the balance of cash will be returned based on your expenditures; however a debit card hold may take several weeks to release, so it's best to provide cash or credit for the incidental guarantee.
Hospitality Staff and Suite
Your CORT PSEA staff will be on hand at the airport and hotel to assist with your arrival and any questions you may have. The PSEA Hospitality Suite will be located in the “Living Room” located on the 1st floor of the hotel. On our final full day, the 11th of April, the suite will move to a Cabana, poolside. Upon arriving at the hotel, PSEA staff will direct you to the suite, which will be staffed throughout the program during hours posted in the agenda that you will receive. Be sure to stop by the suite at your leisure to enjoy refreshments, obtain information about the area, and make dinner reservations or to simply relax.
